Greg Crawford

Greg currently serves as the Fairfax Stars Regional Director for Stars Showcase Baseball and also coaches a 12U Stars team. Greg has coached travel baseball for the past ten plus years with age groups 9U through 15U in multiple travel organizations before moving to the Stars in the spring of 2021.  He has also coached a high school varsity travel season in the spring of 2021 and is the Fairfax High School varsity baseball announcer.  

In addition, Greg has also volunteered in a variety of roles in the game of baseball over the last 35 years; including as a hitting instructor for camps ran by professional scouts associated with the Houston Astros and Cleveland Indians, coaching while active duty in the US Air Force overseas in Germany and Greece, coaching several seasons for the YMCA in Washington State and Fairfax Little League, along with serving as a volunteer hitting and fielding instructor with the HammerZone in Fairfax, VA.  Greg played baseball at Yakima Valley College and Pierce College in Washington State.  He has two boys, Holden and Austin, who currently play in the Stars Organization.  Greg has a MA in Organizational Leadership and has over 20 years’ experience working in the social service and criminal justice field.
