Bio
Glen has coached Stars teams at 13U-17U age groups. Since 2015, Glen has also served as an assistant coach at Freedom High School in South Riding, VA. In 2018, Freedom advanced to the VA state semi-finals.
Glen got his coaching start in Loudoun South Little League (LSLL), where he coached at every level from T-Ball to Juniors, including every all-star age level (9/10, 10/11, Little League, Juniors). He led the 2014 LSLL Juniors All Star team to the League’s first ever district championship and finished in the top 6 in the Virginia State Tournament.
Prior to joining Stars Baseball in 2013, Glen coached in the Loudoun South Eagles travel baseball organization at the 8U-12U age levels in every fall/spring season from 2008-2012. His teams amassed an impressive 152-72-4 record, winning multiple tournament championships, and helping to establish Loudoun South as one of the premiere travel organizations in Northern Virginia.
Glen is also active in the baseball community off the field, having served as a Founding Board Member of Loudoun South Little League. Glen served on the LSLL board since the League’s inception in 2005 until 2012. He held the positions of Vice President, Secretary and Equipment Manager. Additionally, he is a Founding Board Member of Kyle’s Kamp. Created in 2010, Kyle’s Kamp has raised more than $1,200,000 for pediatric cancer research and care for Children’s National since 2012. Part of Kyle’s Kamp’s fundraising activities include hosting of a D.C.-area wood bat baseball tournament.
Glen is known for his exemplary organizational and communication skills; skills he has developed in his more than two decades of work for one of the nation’s premiere grassroots advocacy associations, where he has trained and engaged millions of citizens in the political process and has given approximately 600 public presentations in the U.S. and Canada. Glen also assists with and attends numerous camps and coaching clinics year round to refine and enhance his coaching skills.
